Refund and Returns Policy

We get it — sometimes things don’t work out. Maybe the fit isn’t quite right, or the color looks different than you expected. Whatever the reason, we want to make the return process as straightforward as possible for you.

What You Can Return

You’ve got 30 days from the day your order shows up at your door to send it back. Here’s what we need from the item:

It has to be unworn and unwashed — basically, in the same shape it arrived in. Keep the original tags, labels, and packaging on and intact. The item should be ready for its next owner, meaning no pet hair, no odors, no stains, and no signs that it’s been used.

If an item comes back to us worn, washed, or altered in any way, we won’t be able to accept it. We know that sounds strict, but it’s the only way we can keep things fair for everyone.

What Can’t Be Returned

Since our products are printed to order, there are a few situations where we can’t take something back:

If you requested a custom or personalized design and it came out exactly as ordered, that one’s yours. We will, of course, make it right if there’s a defect or if we printed something wrong. Also, anything showing signs of wear, washing, or alterations isn’t eligible. And once that 30-day window closes, we’re unable to process returns.

Something Wrong With Your Order?

Mistakes happen — a print might come out flawed, a package might get roughed up in transit, or we might ship the wrong item altogether. If any of that happens, just reach out to us within 30 days of delivery and here’s what we’ll do:

Return shipping is on us — you won’t pay a dime. We’ll either send you a full refund or a replacement, whichever you prefer (as long as the item is still in stock). Just snap a few photos of the issue and include them in your email so we can get things moving quickly.

Changed Your Mind?

No hard feelings. If you ordered the wrong size, didn’t love the color in person, or simply had a change of heart, you can still return it within 30 days as long as it meets the conditions above. A couple of things to know:

You’ll need to cover the return shipping cost on your end. The shipping fee you paid at checkout is non-refundable. For more details on original shipping charges, please refer to our Shipping Policy. We’d suggest using a shipping method with tracking — we can’t take responsibility if the package gets lost on its way back to us.

Restocking Fees

There are none. We don’t charge restocking fees on any eligible return.

Rather Cancel Than Return?

If you just placed your order and changed your mind, you might not need to go through the return process at all. We offer a 24-hour cancellation window from the moment your order is placed. Just shoot us an email at contact@gandermarks.com with your order number, and we’ll cancel it before it goes into production.

After 24 hours, though, your item is likely already being printed — that’s the nature of print-on-demand. At that point, you’d need to wait for delivery and then follow the return steps below. For more details on cancellations, see our Terms & Conditions.

How to Start a Return

First, shoot us an email at contact@gandermarks.com. Include your order number, which item(s) you’d like to return, and a brief reason why. If the item is defective, attach a few clear photos.

Next, we’ll get back to you within one business day with a return authorization and step-by-step shipping instructions.

Then, pack everything up in the original packaging — tags, labels, accessories, the whole deal — and ship it back following the instructions we sent you.

Finally, once the return lands at our facility and passes inspection, we’ll send you an email letting you know whether it’s been approved.

How Refunds Work

After we’ve received and checked over the returned item, you’ll get an email from us confirming the outcome.

If everything looks good, your refund gets processed and sent back to your original payment method within 3 to 5 business days. For details on accepted payment methods and how transactions are handled, please see our Payment Policy. Heads up though — depending on your bank or card provider, it could take an extra 5 to 10 business days before you actually see it on your statement. That part is out of our hands, unfortunately.

Want to Exchange Instead?

If you’d rather swap for a different size, color, or style, just email us at contact@gandermarks.com and we’ll walk you through it. Exchanges depend on what we have in stock at the time. If the item you want isn’t available, we’ll go ahead and process a refund instead.

Refund Taking Longer Than Expected?

If the money hasn’t shown up yet, here’s what to try:

Double-check your bank account or card statement one more time. Give your bank or credit card company a call — sometimes they need a few extra days on their end. Still nothing? Email us at contact@gandermarks.com and we’ll dig into it right away.
